Baked to order, shipped the same day.

We deliver only to the cities below, and within them only to the pincodes our courier serves. Checkout asks for your pincode first and tells you straight away whether we can deliver there — before you type an address or pay anything.

We cannot deliver outside these areas, even for an extra charge. Our cookies are baked to be eaten within a week, so we send them only where the courier can get them there in time. We do not ship outside India.

Every order goes into the next bake that is open. Orders close at 6pm the evening before each bake. That evening we prep, and the next day your cookies are baked, packed and handed to the courier.

So an order placed on a Tuesday is baked on Thursday, while one placed at 7pm on a Wednesday waits for Monday. The wait before baking is between one and five days, and checkout shows your bake date before you pay. All times are Indian Standard Time.

Arrival estimates count from the bake day — the day your box ships — not the day you order. A box baked on Monday for a city with a 1–2 day estimate should reach you on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Couriers generally do not deliver on Sundays or public holidays, so a box baked on Thursday for a city with a 2–3 day estimate may arrive on Monday.

Your estimated arrival is shown at checkout, in your confirmation email and on your order page. It is the courier's estimate, not a promise: weather, festivals and hub delays can hold a parcel up. If a delay means your box reaches you more than 7 days after it was baked, we refund it.

• Shipping is one charge per order, however many boxes are in it, at the rate for the city it is going to.
• The charge appears as soon as you enter your pincode, and is included in the total before you pay. There is nothing to pay on delivery.
• Rates can change, but never on an order you have already paid for.

We send boxes by road with Professional Couriers, or another regional courier where one serves your address better. When your box is handed over, we email you the courier's name and docket number.

Regional couriers rarely offer live tracking, so your order page is the best place to see how far your box has got — booked, in the oven, packed and shipped.

• Give a complete address, with a landmark if the courier might need one, and a mobile number that will be answered — the courier may call it.
• Someone needs to be there to take the box in. A parcel that cannot be delivered goes back to the courier, and a perishable box cannot be sent out again. What happens then.
• Spotted a mistake in the address? Write to us before the cutoff and we will correct it.
• Keep the box sealed at room temperature, out of the sun, and enjoy the cookies within 7 days of the bake date printed on it.

Tick “This is a gift for someone else” at checkout and the box goes to their address with your note and no prices inside. The emails and the tracking link come to you, so the surprise is kept.

Each order goes to one address. To send boxes to several people, place an order for each.

If we have not put something right, raise it with our grievance officer, Tharunniha, at hello@crumbor.in. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month of receiving it.
